Metamorphosis
The main concept is given by the title of Escher's work: the metamorphosis. It is not intended to show this concept explicitly, but rather in a very subtle way with the aim of enhancing the work of the artist. As a consequence of the video mapping technique, there is also a secondary concept that is just as important as the previous one, which is based on the interaction of light and shadow with the three-dimensional figure.
